Off-Season development program (May to August)

We offer a full comprehensive off-season program designed to start at the beginning of May to allow players post season physical and mental recovery continuing to the end of August. Taking you through off-season development and into pre-season functional conditioning. Professional certified instructors will challenge you with dry-land, on-ice and goalie specific training. Specific nutrition, testing, tournament and program gear are included. Our program facilities for dry-land training are at Gagne Fitness (15,000sq. ft. of professionally designed functional training systems in Woodbine SW. The on-ice is at south – Fairview arena,
north – Crowfoot arena.

In-Season Conditioning (October to March)
During the hockey season we offer team training. A unique dynamic 60 minute session that will get and keep your team in peak physical condition as well as build good team morale in the process.

Power Skating Skill Development (May to August) - (October to April)
One on one, group or team specific training program fit into your in-season schedule, learn power dynamics, develop quickness, acceleration, strength, foot speed and agility. We can get you the edge.

Once registered you will begin with your first dryland session at Gagne Fitness (#101- 2525 Woodview Drive SW, T2W 4N4). Bring proper cross training attire.

Your first dryland and on-ice session you will receive:
a) T-shirt and shorts
b) On - ice jersey
Before commencing your dryland training we will administer physiological analysis.
c) Body composition analysis (caliper skinfolds and/or bio-impedance measurement tracks progress and data for nutritional program
d) Baseline fitness testing (tracks physiological changes in strength, power, aerobic and anaerobic capacity) and further analysis throughout the program to chart your progress.

Your dryland schedule will be as follows:
May - 3 days per week (Mon. - Wed. - Fri.)
June - 4 days per week (Mon. - Tues. - Thurs. - Fri.)
July & August - 5 days per week (Mon. - Tues. - Wed. - Thurs. - Fri.)

Your on-ice schedule will be as follows:
(30 Hours of on-ice per group)
